The deadline for the nominations for Blogpower Roundup No 4 is fast approaching. So think about the posts of BP members that you have enjoyed during the month of November and would like to see in the roundup. Send them, along with their URLs, to blogpowerroundupATgmailDOTcom before the deadline of November 30th at 5PM, London Time.

You can even send them in early, for I surely won't complain and in fact I have already sent some myself. Now all I have to do is find out how to access that email account to extract the information. So HELP, PLEASE. Someone? Matt M? Ian A? Gracchi?

Blogpower Roundup #2 - Nominations Open

Matt Murrell came up with and co-ordinated the first Blogpower roundup back in August. Despite his sterling efforts, we have let the idea languish somewhat, but now a few of us are hoping to run it on approximately a monthly basis. So, with that in mind, I would like to invite your nominations for Roundup #2: I'm looking for the Blogpower members' posts that you have most enjoyed during September, not least because I didn't have chance to do much visiting while I was away, so there's a lot of bloggy goodness I will have missed over the month. You don't have to be a BP member to nominate a BP post.

Please send your chosen URLs to blogpowerroundup AT gmail DOT com by 5pm, London time, next Sunday, ie September 30. I hope to bring you the results at the start of October.

Blogpower Round-up #1

The very first Blogpower Round-Up can now be found over at my blog.

It ended up being a little rushed (my monitor decided to die on me a few days ago and I've had a really bad cold - I know: excuses, excuses!) but hopefully you'll find posts you've overlooked and with any luck it'll get a few more people interested in Blogpower.

Please mention it on your own blogs, as we want as many people to see these as possible.

(If you're using blogger, it's possible to highlight, copy and paste the entire thing into your own blog if you wanted to.)

From the post below it looks like I might have picked the worst time to try and get this up and running, but the first ever Blogpower Round-up will take place next Monday (the 13th) Friday (the 17th) - so you've got less than just over a week to get your nominations in.

Blogpower Round-up

The inaugural Blogpower Round-up will be held (all things going to plan) over at my blog in the first week of August, so send your nominations to the following email address:

I'm sure most of you are familiar with the various round-ups and carnivals which pop up all over the blogworld, but just in case:

The Blogpower Round-up is intended to highlight the best and the brightest comment that our group has to offer. If any post on a BP blog has caught your eye in recent weeks then just send the link to the above email address, whoever is in charge of the round-up (initially me, obviously) will then publish a list of these posts along with a brief and witty (well... brief at least) commentary on his or her blog. (We're hoping that this will happene about once every couple of weeks).

The idea behind all this is two-fold: One, to highlight posts you might otherwise have missed, and two, to raise awareness of Bklogpower among casual visitors to the blogs involved.
