Now, Laze and Gem, I'm a bit sheepish about this because I just haven't ... well, we haven't ... got right behind the Blogpower Roundup after Matt Murrell's great inaugural effort and we should get onto this.
The other thing which has been in the pipeline since the last Awards is our own internal awards for us. Now ... how can I put this delicately? Since my ... er ... little disgrace ... well ... er ... perhaps someone else can carry the can and run with it on the Autumn Awards?

If Matt has found compiling the round-up too much of an overwhelming prospect, I know the Britblog roundup is now on a rota. Could we do something similar ourselves? I am happy to step forward as one volunteer. How often would we want to run a round-up? My take is that once a month sounds about right.
If you could survive without a witty setting up of the posts and accept a pedestrian one, I would be willing to take a turn in hosting Blogpower Roundup.
I would be glad to take a turn as well- if someone put me on the list
That's great stuff and of course I'll do one too.
Now what list do you mean, Tiberius? Truth is that it's all got away from me a little lately. Matt had an e-mail address I think. Or did you mean posting on BP? That's easily fixed.
Now, what about Autumn Awards for Us? No one has mentioned them. Any takers?
Sorry, I've been meaning to do something about the round-up for ages.
If you decide who wants to hold it next they can send an email to the address below and I'll give them the account password.

It was a figurative list- an imaginary one James!
I've been waiting for someone to tell me what to do about this! I'm happy to do a roundup whenever you want but I can't do anything technically fancy!
Okay.
I think that once a month sounds best. We're only a relatively small group after all.
We should establish a rota. If nobody has any objections I'd suggest alphabetical order, just to make things easier. We can always swap it around if we need to.
That would mean: Ian Appleby - Gracchi - James Higham - Welshcakes Limoncello.
My attempt was ages ago, so it's really up to Ian how soon he wants to do his.
If all this sounds acceptable then Ian should email the address above and I'll send him the password.
Matt, you've got mail. I'm going to aim for start of october, inviting the best posts throughout september. My one worry is that a week is not enough time for people to respond. Any thoughts, anyone, before I go ahead and make a fresh post calling for nominations?
Incidentally, shouldn't we have jmb on the rota between Gracchi and James?
D'oh! I knew I'd forget someone...
All seems fine to me.
