BlogPower on the MSM?

There now follows a public information film on behalf of Blogpower.

(Patrick Allen voiceover)

After midday is over, and the afternoon has begun, you will need to listen to your radio to find out if the Tin Drummer is being interviewed on Radio Five Live about Blogpower. An interview could come at any time. We will now tell you what to do if you are caught outside when you hear the signal. This is the sound for the interview: "And now over to Chris Vallance who will be talking to the Tin Drummer". turn on your portable radio and tune to 693/909 MW. Listen until you are told to stop. We will now tell you what to do if you are at home. Turn off televisions, disconnect phones, turn on stereos or get BBC Radio on your computer. The radio will advise you what to do, when to do it, and how. Listen to your radio.

Don't forget your tin opener....and bottle opener.

Erm, anyway, I might be being interviewed by the beeb tomorrow so listen out! If not I'll post an update beforehand. Anything I should say? Any good answers to possible questions?

Don't forget to point out that the blogging revolution will ultimately cause the downfall of the mainstream media. Then laugh. Manically.

Other than that, the usual stuff about blogging bringing people together in order to share and discuss ideas would be good. And mention the Blogpower URL - so that people know where to find us. Promise them free sweets if they check us out.

Sorry about that - slight glitch while trying to comment.

A list bloggers tend to be politically orientated towards a particular party, it may be worth pointing out that the Blogpower community is diverse in its political persuasion. I'm tired of certain A list Bloggers criticising the policies of parties they are not aligned with, knowing full well that they would embrace them if they were.

Wonderful. Some reward for the efforts of all of us - this is democracy in action. The Tin Drummer is leading the way, as he should, beating the drum. Narrow sectional interests will always lose to people power.
